I too got in on this deal Mem day and got my ebates last week. THis is how it works
You go to
www.ebates.com and log in (not a member yet? got yahoo email? there's often links in there to go to ebates via yahoo and get a $5 bonus).
Anyway, you log into your ebates account. From there, you LINK thru to photoalley. The page will be framed meaning that you'll see the ebates logo and your email address at the top and then the rest of the page will be photoalleys (or whoever if you go to another store-- say officemax.com, buy.com, etc). THAT IS ALL YOU"LL SEE OF EBATES. You really can't miss it if it's there. It's bright GREEN about 2 inches tall and runs the lenght of the screen and has the ebates logo on it. It says: Happy shopping <email address>. If this is not you, please login.

You place your order. No mention of ebates in the order page, the email confirm, packing slip etc. My order was May 25 and ebates sent me an email yesterday I think saying my $25 was credited to my ebates account. From the time I linked thru to photoalley on may 25 to the time I got my email yesterday there was no mention of any money coming from ebates.
So it's a matter of faith for a few weeks. Just mske sure you link thru and see the stuff on the top of the page

What do I have to do to get a rebate?
Not much. Simply log on to Ebates (or sign up if you haven't yet joined), pick one of our hundreds of merchants, and then shop as you normally would. We'll take care of crediting your account with the rebate you've earned on all your purchases. Every three months, we'll mail you a Big Fat Check. (If your rebates total $5.00 or less, we'll carry over your money to the next check.) No forms to fill out. No strings attached.
Do all purchases I make at any Ebates merchant get credited by Ebates?
Yes, if you start at Ebates every time you shop there. If you do not click through Ebates prior to entering the merchant site, you will not be credited with a rebate. (There are also some products that do not qualify for rebates -- see below.) If you click through Ebates and make a purchase, then surf elsewhere on the Web and return to that store and make a second purchase, your second purchase will not earn a rebate. (You must click through Ebates every time you shop at a merchant site.) If you use multiple windows on your browser, the window in which you shop at the merchant must have been originated at the Ebates Web site.
Where do my rebates go?
You have two options. You can have your Big Fat Check:
mailed to you
or donated (in full or part) to a charity of your choice
Change the destination of your Big Fat Check as often as you like. However, each Big Fat Check will be sent based on the selection that is active on the date of check distribution. If no address is present in your account profile, we will be unable to send you a check and your rebates will be rolled over into the next quarter's balance.
Can I use MSN Passport at Ebates?
No, you may not use MSN Passport while shopping through Ebates.
