My point was, Ohno has been DQ'ed from winning for the exact same thing, cross tracking. Kim clearly cross tracked, there is no disputing that. Can't change the rules after the fact. Kim broke the rules, which results in DQ, has happened to many skaters, just not at the olympics. The Koreans are mad because Kim will be the 2001-2002 World Cup champion when the seasons over and he had a bad olympics, with falls in the 5000m relay semi's, and a fall in the 1000m semi's. He then got DQ'ed for cross tracking. DQ's are a fact of life in speed skating. Ive been watching short track speed skating ever since they were included in the Olympics(1992), the only event I really watch. The fact of the matter is, short track always comes down to controvesy, no ones ever happy, because anyone in the final race can win it with a bit of luck. The reason most of the world likes Ohno is because HE IS A GOOD SPORT. Kim on the other hand has complained through out the short track events, he also threw his flag down twice, skated over it and kicked the blocks, Kim is a bad sport, plain and simple. Ohno has gone through just as much as he, and has done it without throwing hissy fits on the ice in front of a packed crowd and millions watching around the world. Im sure the Korean media doesn't even mention him kicking the blocks or throwing the flag down.
