Koss KSC-75 headphones: $9.99 at Radioshack

Check your newspaper for this week's Radioshack ad (they also had them on the counter at my local RadioShack).

The Koss KSC-75 headphones are $9.99.


(if you do PriceGrabber review bonuses, there still are $5 review bonus forms on their website. Dropped my cost basis to about $6).

The one from Radio Shack has an inline volume control, which some over at Head-Fi could become staticy over time. They say that Radio Shack is the only place selling them with the inline volume control.

If you don't want this, Amazon.com has the same headphones for $14.47.

I didnt know that they made ksc-75s with volume control. For ten bucks, im thinking about picking up another pair of these great sounding headphones.

got 1pr -- and they sound much better than my generic earbuds -- and are 1000X more comfortable

hmm i'm actually in the market for some new portable headphones right now.

I was thinking sennheiser pxc 100 (or maybe even 250 or 300) but would these be good enough for on the go compared to those 3?

General consensus seems to be they'll sound even better, but be uncomfortable as all hell.

I think you got mixed up. the KSC-35 were the great sounding ones that were uncomfortable. The newer KSC-75's sound very good and are pretty comfortable. I wear them for several hours at a time, and sometimes forget they are even on.

if you go to radioshack's homepage, you can search on "this weeks ad" by zipcode i think. The ksc-75s were on the ad for 9.99 the one that came up for me.

wow i picked them up and I love them! Great accurate sound at a minimal price, glad i didn't spend the money on sennheiser.

I found them comfortable and the sound is unmatched. I tried every pair of headphones from radioshack and those are the best sounding. I even put them up against the Bang & Olufsen A8's and another pair of 160 dollar B&O's at the apple store. Even with the Cmoy pocket amp these are one of the best sounding headphones around. For the price of course, im not comparing them to the shures but there not even in the same price range.

The inline volume control apparently degrades the sound quality, most people prefer the model without it.
