First got the headphones from RS -- and like them so much I tried the pricematch deal with CC

No problem... Was out the door for $9something with tax -- and no volume control to cut off

Thanks OP.

I ordered 2 from RS.

They are very comfortable and they sound nice.

If you have got a Circuit City near you, people over at Head Fi have been successful at getting a price match with 10% difference (these one apparently do not have the volume control either).

I'm still using my KOSS TD-61. Been using them for about 9-10 years now, they still sound pretty darn good, though not as good as when I first got them, and the leather padding has completely worn off.

EDIT: Oh, just found out the Koss KSC-75 are "portable headphones". The TD-61 are regular headphones.

I bought a pair of these when Media Play was closing, excellent headphones! They are very comfortable and sound great, even without an amp.

Looks like the sale has been extended to 5/13! Sounds like the volume control is iffy, so I'm off to grab another pair at CC.

Thanks OP!

Yeah, I think my subtitle is incorrect.

I believe this sale goes through Mother's Day.

I went and recycled all my bottles yesterday, got $19.45..
Bought these and a burrito. These have the best sound by far!
Not a real fan of the earclips, I'd rather have a head or neck band to press them against my ears more, seal in the bass.
For 4 bucks more+ship you can get this Pro model - looks like also titanium with same range.

But really the sound is just great. Whatta deal.

Edit to say this is one product that will make me prefer the brand overall in the future.

I was at radioshack just an hour ago to get me a S-Video -> RCA adapter.
They had a plenty of these at $9.99, was kinda tempting to tell the truth. But I guess I have too many headphones atm (K701, HD650, HD580 and e2c) so they really wont see much use other than just seeing what all the commotion is about.
Turns out the clerk gave me a wrong adapter and I lacked enough sense to double check on it, gotta go back and have it replaced. Wonder if I should get a Koss while at it...

I picked up some on my way home from the post office. They actually do sound really great for the price. Thanks, OP.

Now my wife wants some. Maybe I'll swing by the Circuit City to do a PM for the next set...

These won't make you toss your HD650 or HD580s, but they are surely the best sounding portable headphones I've listened to--and I've listened to a LOT of them. I don't love the earclip style, but as earclips go, these are comfortable. (For portable headphones, I prefer in-the-ear plugs, e.g. the e2c, or the excellent-for-the-money Sony Fonetopia plugs).

Clips don't fit perfectly and bleed too much sound. A headband is indeed needed to get the sonic performance out of the earphone that's being dished out.

Nice, with my employee discount I should have these for about $9.90! Not much of a discount on sale items... Good deal nonetheless. I will check these out on Saturday.

Yeah, the earclips suck but these are quite good sounding. The inline volume control is pretty important as the sensitivity of these are quite high. On my Inspiron 9400 I can't turn the volume low enough to be comfortable otherwise.

Yeahh, I agree the clips do suck on these, but they sound good. Im using them right now. They sound much better than my creative ear buds, but I want to get a pair of earbuds from sony since my creative ones got messed up

I agree, clips are only a deal with no shipping. Those pros are web-only, which they have free shipping over 50$. But oh no, now I want them.
