No problem mixing drives of any sort or cache size. Performance is limited by the slowest drive though. Be sure to put each drive in a striped pair on separate cables. IE: 2 masters striped together and 2 slaves striped together. Using "Cable Select" often boosts performance a bit too.
This chipset supports the 66PCI bus though I don't see the extra slot for the lower voltage PCI standard on this card. Eyeball some of the others at Pricewatch if you need it. If you're really concerned I'd spend a bit more and get the Highpoint card. There's a good chance your next mainboard will use the same brand chipset and you can move the drives to it without losing data.
