KR7A-133R Won't boot HELP!

Ok guys i just got a KR7A-133R and it won't boot. I get one looong beep, which i know means the ram. I checked the ram with another mobo and it works perfectly. I have 256mb of Crucial DDR ram ( part # CT3264Z265 ). I've moved the ram to different slots, pushed down on the ram as far as it would go, and even disconnected everything except vid card, ram, floppy, and HS.


ANY suggestions would be appreciated!!

I had the same problem this week however let me tell my story. I had an antec case and everything worked great, I then purchased a new lian li case and moved everything into the new case. I went to turn it on fans spin but just one long beep with no video, messed around with it and couldnt figure it out. So I took out the mainboard and noticed 2 motherboard mounting holes were off and touching the back of the board. Fixed those and it tried it again this time success. My board was actually shorting out because of the mounting clips so make sure the back of the board isnt touching anything metal except the correct mounting places.

HMM I am having a similar problem. I went from a cheap case to my antec case. Everything powers up but no video. I tried taking everything out and putting in one at a time but no luck. I even have the board out on a desk just connec ted to the power supply with video card , ram and hd. Everything powers up but no beep or video anu other ideas?

YESS!!! i got it fixed. OK the problem is that i didn't mount all the brass screws at the bottom on the board. I was missing 2 of them, I installed them and poooof everything booted up. So I guess make sure you put all the mounting screws at the bottom of the board!

Worked for me!
