The MSI board is going to work.
All you have to consider is that ABIT and ASUS represent the best attempts to make the best quality board on the market (and charge the premium $$ to go with it).
MSI makes money because they cut every engineering/material/process corner they can to still "meet the spec" but save every last penny to give $$ concious consumers a choice. (quality vs. economy)
Not every driver needs a Corvette. Cavalier's are fine for some people too (they both work... right?)
