KT266A Chipset & VIA Drivers Help Please

Hi gang, can anyone tell me what VIA drivers I need or should install with this chipset and Windows XP. Via claims their latest 4.35 offering is intended for Windows XP and I did as suggested installed them immediately after installing the OS. I cannot remember the file name but only one file installed (went so darn quickly I forgot sorry). I read somewhere that the installer will only allow what the OS needs? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

That's correct. I think the inf file is the only thing that installs with XP. You're fine.

Hi Tazdevl, indeed you were correct. I just double checked and the only file the 4.35 Via driver package wants to install is the .INF driver version 1.40A. Thanks a bunch for the reply. Just curious TAZ, do you know of a link or something where I can find out about all the different settings for DDR and VIA KT266A motherboards? Take care and thanks again!
