Just called the downtown Portland, Oregon OD they only have the display model left and their price does show $38.88

Here's the desk online but the price is higher because this is a B&M only deal, the desk is on clearane (which means YMMV) and there's no picture of the desk online.

To be quite honest it's not super durable and it's somewhat flimsy. I dunno how my L shaped desk holds my 19" FD Trinitron Dell P991 monitor on one end, keyboard, mouse in the middle near the edges is a Brother HL-1240 laser printer on the other side at the very edge is an HP v40 all in one printer and my wife's 17" Samsung 753DF monitor plus her keyboard/mouse.

I would recommend making sure that your chair fits underneath the desk if you like to scoot in your chair like I do.

Also check it out at B&M and see if you like it. Then again who really cares for only $20?

i'm gonna have to disagree. the table is pretty stable as i'm pretty sure it was only meant to hold one monitor and a computer at the bottom (it has a stand for the computer). Look at all the items you have put on your table...lOl

You're partially right but the whole purpose of an L shaped desk is to have two computers with two monitors, right? At least that's what I interpreted it as. I think I'm going to remove everything from the desk, clean/dust the surface off and see if there's any bowing.

B&M = Brick and Mortar, the actual physical store you walk into as opposed to the .com website.

YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary meaning just because one store in Yonkers, NY has this desk for $38.88 doesn't mean ALL the Office Depot stores will have the same price ... so if you see YMMV take into account that you may not see the same price in your area.
