As much as I'd like to agree with you, honestly, I'd like to, but there's that thing called money that some people don't have even though they "want it". If I'd give you the list of things "I want" but still haven't bought because I don't have the money perhaps you would realize that things aren't always simple in life.

Yea I've wanted Mass Effect since it came out and just bought it this past weekend. I've also needed a new phone for 2 months and am just finally able to afford a new one.

The free trial will include access to the recently released Survival Pack DLC, which introduces a new multiplayer game mode and two additional Versus campaigns. Those who wish to give L4D and the Survival Pack a try may now pre-load everything needed to play with no obligation to purchase.

However probably not the best night to achieve some golds on survival, if you end up with at least 1 or 2 beginners each round.

I was having a hard time justifying the money to spend on this as well, I am very picky about any game I put my money and time into, I usually go for games with more substance/content, like Oblivion for example, however this is the best, most immersive multiplayer fps I have ever played, not like all the other "Hey theres a war going on, so go shot each other with guns and junk." Verses is fun, Survival is really good, and Co-op is outstanding! You must work as a team or die. None of that 32 vs. 32 server crap either. "Oooh I shot you in the head, while someone else shoots me in the back, while yet another person is knifing him." My $.02

L4D is a blast with friends, if anyone hasent bought it already i definately recommend it :thumbsup: Its much more fun with friends.

I played for a while last night and I have to say I was somewhat underwhelmed.

Maybe I need to up the difficulty because I never really felt pressured by anything and my team just kind of rolled through without any problems. Also I was the leader in the score department every round, which is not a very good sign, because I suck. I have to say I get tired of the constant darkness as well. Unfortunately I think my playing time will have run out by the time I get home from work, so I'm S.O.L. as far as the free play goes.

I'd buy this for $10, just to mix things up, but I can't see paying $40 or whatever it costs right now.

anyways, the game is on sale for $24 this weekend, the lowest its ever been through steam
