I am going off the video evidence, not what's been alleged (without evidence) in the past.
He never said in the video that he hated all blacks, but their culture.
We're all ready to anoint people who stereotype or generalize as KKK and Hitler and [insert mass genocide murderer and/or racist here] when the evidence doesn't support such idiocy. I'm sure you would agree that not liking a race's culture is a lot different than completely hating and wanting to lynch/murder people of [x] race. We are all ready to label people as extremists when the truth lies somewhere in between.
I want to know what exactly is this black culture you speak of. I doubt you even know what it is.He never said in the video that he hated all blacks, but their culture. He didn't want her hanging around with the hiphop/tattooed/diamond teeth/sideways hat/untied shoes/baggy pants/underwear showing/rap crowd, which he thought could hurt her (and his) image. He thought this crowd was predominantly black.I swear to God this stuff is gold. You guys draw some mighty funny lines. I guess you live in a world where wanting your girlfriend to stay away from "black people" in public is not racist. I'm not even sure what it is possible to say to that.

Did you really just compare yourself to Magic Johnson? :hmm::biggrin:
Ca we get a custom title for you? I think 'Resident Narcissist' would be most fitting.
You seriously don't think the sworn and court recorded deposition testimony isn't evidence? :hmm:
"Their" culture? Oh well, in that case . . .
I'm not saying he's KKK or Hitler. Indeed, most sane observers aren't. But the fact is, as born out by a mountain of "non-alleged" court recorded testimony, he's a bigoted effing racist, and you seem to be part of the "We" that wishes to jump through all kinds of hoops to minimize and or ignore this blatant fact.
Edro never claimed it was black culture because it isn't black culture. However, you are equating it with black culture.Refer to edro's post #233 if you really need this spelled out.

He specifically mentioned Magic Johnson, who wears suits and is a highly respected businessman, so BULLSHIT on your attempted apology for this racist.
I didn't understand what he was getting at with Magic. Was it b/c Magic has AIDS? Was it because Magic used to be promiscuous (and as a result could be banging his g/f = AIDS)?
He didn't delve into that in the interview, but everyone assumes it's simply b/c he's black when it could be other reasons.
Get it through your skull. Bill wasn't talking about black culture in his legit criticism of part of African American society.Believe what you want to believe. Why don't you read Bill Cosby's complaints about black culture. In many ways they are similar to edro's post of it. Is he full of shit about black culture? Let's keep it real.

The guy was recorded saying he doesn't like black culture and didn't want his half black g/f associating with it (the irony is semi-hilarious here).
He's a bigot, but I don't believe that he hates all blacks.
You realize that he was banging a black chick and has some say on who gets a contract on his team (90% black)?
From Baylor's lawsuit:
[Sterling] said, 'Personally, I would like to have a white Southern coach coaching poor black players.' And I was shocked. And he looked at me and said, Do you think thats a racist statement?' I said, 'Absolutely. Thats plantation mentality.'"
If he really hated blacks in say the way KKK or neonazi's, then why was he banging one [...] Does not compute.
You either don't understand the first thing about the bent psychology of racists or you are intentionally and willfully blinding yourself to the actions and words of this reprehensible pig.
FFS, yes, it does compute.
Educate yourself. "Frazier Glenn Miller, a former KKK leader and anti-Semitic murderer, was once arrested with a black, cross-dressing hooker. According to psychology and history, its not that surprising."

That was at the end of the long argument when he was getting frustrated. He specifically mentioned Magic Johnson, who wears suits and is a highly respected businessman, so BULLSHIT on your attempted apology for this racist.
The more I am on this forum, the more I love living in my "Third World" Caribbean island where I'm not exposed to that filth. ^_^I had _no_ idea when I posted this that there would be as many people here as there apparently are who think there is a substantive difference between racism and not wanting to be seen "with black people."
That's nuts. It's just, simply, fucking, nuts.
Again, I believe he poorly chose the words "black people" when he was referring to urban/hiphop/rap culture.I had _no_ idea when I posted this that there would be as many people here as there apparently are who think there is a substantive difference between racism and not wanting to be seen "with black people."
