What looks to be a hot deal, is less hot because the rebates have to be mailed to Canada... YMMV for sure, especially with word of the Canada Post impending strike.
Don't know about CS, but for an authentic Pioneer DVR-105 drive, this is a great price, even when you factor in the $1.20 you have to pay to send 2 rebate forms to Canada . If you're new to DVD burning, then you may want to go for the retail Pioneer box ($179.99 @ Fry's) for it's better software bundle. The retail Pioneer comes with Sonic MyDVD for authoring. The Pine just comes with Nero.
There are 2: $30 and $20. They go to the same place in Canada, but have different offer numbers. One ($30) requires the original UPC, the other ($20) requires a copy.
Oh yeah, if you get this one, make sure the person at the counter gives you the right one! The one who sold me mine tried to give me one for the Pine DVD+RW drive, which was incorrect.
