Talk all the sh!t you want. Try winning 3 championships in 5 years. What the Lakers have accomplished is nothing short of amazing in this short 5 years. 3 Championships, and they've made it to the Finals every year except one.

The Pistons outplayed the Lakers plain and simple. Nobody is denying that. The Lakers need a major retooling, I think Phil needs to go as well. We need to get a real power forward and point guard on our team. As long as Shaq and Kobe stay, I see no reason why we won't be back in the Finals next year.

The Lakers need to get younger talent and a decent coach, as I don't see Phil Jackson as the coach of the Lakers next year. Phil is more geared to getting very talented teams over the hump, as with the Chicago and Laker teams.

Next year will definitely be a rebuilding year for the Lakers. I just hope we at least get into the playoffs next season. Although that will depend on who will be on the team.
