Sac lost this game tonight... Lakers were just there to pick up the pieces.

Congrats anyway, to one of the best teams that have played the game. (Even if I do HATE them. )

Yea he came through with those FT's, he is probably the best FT shooter on the team. I still cringe every time he shoots the ball though.

kings has a better well rounded team but NO ONE but bibby stepped up. that's what made the difference between the lakers and the other teams in the NBA. under intense stress and pressure, you tend to choke and the Lakers have been able to fight that! THAT'S WHAT MAKES A CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM BABY!!!

Yes, awesome series, and awesome game! Props to the Kings for one intense series, and not backing down from the two-time champs in the least through the very end. No props for the usual incessant cow-bell ringing.

Ah, now me and the fam can have our victory roast & dinner in complete peace after yet another heart-stopping end. My heart nearly made the bloody 15-ft. leap to the TV screen many times. WHEEEEW! All I have left to say is, "WOW!" The quest is not through... but I'll be cheering up until the bitter/happy end as I was now, as any true fan should.

Did anybody notice when Jim Gray was interviewing Bibby (I think) that somebody else put a microphone into the view and Gray shoved it out of the way? It was kinda funny and awkward. BTW, Jim Gray is a total ass.

That was the most exciting basketball series I've seen since the classic Lakers/Celtics series of the 80's. Maybe the best ever. Great series Sac...finally someone who can compete against the Lakers. Lakers pulled it off with maturity in the clutch situation. Kings couldn't make their free throws, had to rely too much on Bibby.

Lakers proved they're the better team. But Sac'll be back next year...

Edit: I wonder how much Bibby will get (demand) since he is a free-agent next year.

Anyone get the idea that Jim Gray is one of these total ass primadonna types when off camera? He's an ass on camera, but I bet he's an asshole off camera. He probably barks at production assistants, and acts like a jerk. I just get that feeling about that guy.

Ditto, this already was, and certainly is a rapidly growing & terrific rivalry. Here's to the Kings staying incredibly competitive, and giving all us b-ball fans some more great basketball games... at least moreso than the Blazers did.

This is a great intra-conference rivalry, but when will we have a similar East opponent match-up well with the Lakers regularly? Will New Jersey stay around long enough to become the Lakers Finals (and otherwise) East nemesis? I guess we'll see starting in a few days...
