I propose a swap with Mexico. They get Texas and we get Baja and Sonora. If the Mexicans drive a hard bargain, we give them Oklahoma as well.
Austin is one of the greatest cities in the United States. It's worth keeping Texas if only for that.
what's Austin done for me lately?
edit: typo
LOL- I voted NJ. What have you guys *ever* done for anyone?
I guess we do owe you for accepting all our waste.

Stupid redneck votes I guess. They just hate CA because they have horrible winters, hot muggy summers and are surrounded by nascar fans.

I haven't been to all of the states. Of the ones I have visited, Wyoming gets my vote as 'lamest'.

I kind of liked Wyoming, big mountains, hot springs, Yellowstone, hot springs, Devils Tower, balmy breezes.

Oregon, easily. It's a forested trashpit filled with hippie drug addicts, trailer trash and rednecks banging their sisters between mayonaise sandwich dinners. The only bright spot in the whole place is Portland, and that isn't worth the rest of that sh1thole.

CA is the like the 5th largest economy in the world. I'd hardly consider it lame, although it'd be a cold day in hell before I moved there. I'm to much of a simple country person to move into that overpriced pretentious taxball nightmare. But you do offer me highly competitive prices on computer wares so that state was never in my running.

Why would I want to live in the south? Its really hot down there and I look terrible in a cowboy hat.

I voted CA. not because I think it is the worst state... NJ is worse for a start... but because well... I am sure that the majority of the state of CA is awesome... but the small lunatic fringe of that State has too much of a profound negative affect on the rest of the country.

With lots of prayer maybe Orange County will fall into the sea. Problem solved.
