Of all the states i've been to. California, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming. I would have to say Utah was the lamest. Driving along miles and miles of dried salt lakes it had the worst scenary. Salt Lake City was also very boring to visit.

As much as I like Texas, driving from San Antonie to Del Rio made me want to just pull over and slit my wrists. The should stock that last gas station with Prozac.

Next time you think about calling a state the lamest, why don't you consider what part of the state you are talking about. The norther part of Jersey is nothing like the south, I live in a town where the average price of new real estate is valued at $692,000 according to the latest study which was about 5 months ago. The whole souther area houses many of the athletes from Philadelphia sports teams. I can go on and on about what Southern Jersey is all about, trust me there is plenty here to do if you have the money, and it's most definately not lame!!!!

God even hick states have their own identity. Jersey is either a suburb of Philly, or a suburb of NYC. The less said about central Jersey....probably the better.

OK, I guess you have a point about NJ not having much of an identity, but if that's what you base your decsion on NJ being the lamest state, then I guess I can live with that.

Like I said if your only justification for NJ being lame is that we have no identity, well then your reasoning for voting for NJ is lame itself. I think you should be able to think of something better then that if you are voting for NJ out of 50 other states. "NJ has no identity" yeah good reason LAMER.

Oh thank god someone with some sense, I agree completely. I wouldn't go vote for a state on here as being the lamest unless I had not only been there, but had a good idea of what the state was all about. I think people need to realize just because they have heard things or seen things on TV about a certain state, doesn't tell you everything about that state. I see all these people voting for Cali on here, I don't live there, but that is really stupid!! most people who rag on a state have never even been to that state, thats how the negative stereotype formed in the first place. i have been to New Jersey, and no, it is not a dirty state. in fact, it is a very nice state with many nice neighborhoods (and I live in the south, which is used to the same old stereotypes)

If I had to choose one I'd say Rhode Island since you can travel across it in a few seconds
