I propose a swap with Mexico. They get Texas and we get Baja and Sonora. If the Mexicans drive a hard bargain, we give them Oklahoma as well.
Austin is one of the greatest cities in the United States. It's worth keeping Texas if only for that.
what's Austin done for me lately?
edit: typo
LOL- I voted NJ. What have you guys *ever* done for anyone?
I guess we do owe you for accepting all our waste.
Once again, you are talking about North Jersey, don't bad mouth a whole state if you know nothing about what the southern part of the state is like. Dumbass

Of all the states i've been to. California, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming. I would have to say Utah was the lamest. Driving along miles and miles of dried salt lakes it had the worst scenary. Salt Lake City was also very boring to visit.

Which state did you vote for? Did you survery the entire state to make absolutely sure everyone and everything about that state was lame for this ultra-scientific poll?
Way to take a silly thread topic and come riding in on your fvcking high-horse to put us peons in our proper place. Now kindly put your smelly, NJ-sized ePenis back in your pants.
In other words, F.O.A.D, douche-nuts.

Absolutely no question, New Jersey.
I need to make a left turn...I'd better get in the right lane!
Next time you think about calling a state the lamest, why don't you consider what part of the state you are talking about. The norther part of Jersey is nothing like the south, I live in a town where the average price of new real estate is valued at $692,000 according to the latest study which was about 5 months ago. The whole souther area houses many of the athletes from Philadelphia sports teams. I can go on and on about what Southern Jersey is all about, trust me there is plenty here to do if you have the money, and it's most definately not lame!!!!
Here is what your state needs.
AN IDENTITY OF ITS OWN.
God even hick states have their own identity. Jersey is either a suburb of Philly, or a suburb of NYC. The less said about central Jersey....probably the better.

OK, I guess you have a point about NJ not having much of an identity, but if that's what you base your decsion on NJ being the lamest state, then I guess I can live with that.

Whew! We dodged a bullet there! I guess we can send our lawyers home - this NJ resident can live with his state being called lame by anonymous strangers on the internet.
Let's hope you develop some tougher skin before your 14th birthday, or else you're not going to make it long around here.

We should have another poll of how many people have actually been to the states they voted for. Closed minded sterotypes.
