I watched it through round 5, to me it looked like neither one of them was throwing anything with power. The one uppercut in round 1 was about it. Lameweathers corner looked more like they were talking about where to go after the fight over actually cornering him. Like I said in my last post, the fight appeared to be a joke, from both fighters, so not just blaming Lameweather, he didn't seem to be running per say.

I think the fight was far more entertaining than any anticipated. McGregor definitely landed some unexpected shots, but it's a shame he gassed out. Not that he could have ever defeated Mayweather once he started coming forward and pressing, giving McGregor no space to work with.

Yep, was a good fight. It went down about as expected. Connor would come out swinging, and if he didn't get him then, he would lose in the later rounds. Connor has always had a stamina issue, it got him again tonight.

Connor kept tapping him on the back of the head, it looked like Floyd went at him head down on purpose to entice him into it. Same as backing his ass up into him. Floyd is smart, always has been. He even admitted he ran away in the last fight. Still not a fan of him, but props for a good post fight interview, and trying to giver fans what they wanted. Seems like a win for both fighters.

Now the fight before... DIRTY. Davis should not be given that win. He got boo'd, could not articulate how the end of the fight went. He didn't know what to say. He obviously hit him in the back of the head, that dropped the guy. Then pushed him down after. Dirty ass punk.

Floyd was fucking with him until about the 4th. In typical Mayweather fashion he almost always gives away the 1st few rounds while he figures out his opponents. Conor's been in the gym 24/7 like mad man prepping for this fight. Mayweather's been on Jimmy Kimmel and various radio shows talking about how he's older and much slower than he use to be. He did a hellova job selling this as a fight Mac had a chance in. He toyed with him for a few rounds and let him gas himself out then he dominated and did exactly what he said he was going to do and stopped him. I suppose winning a few rounds in a fight you lost is worth something? Even if your opponent said in interviews before the fight he was going to coast until you were gassed?

Conor did better than expected, but Floyd allowed it so...

If this was the best Conor could do - another boxer like Canelo or Triple G would murder him due to their youth and speed.

Conor had no power, was throwing wildly and could not connect with the defensive minded Mayweather.
