So that turned out better for Connor than I was expecting, this guy with no amateur record was hardly the boxing joke a lot said he would be. I saw him land hits and perform footwork that other boxers wish they could pull off against someone like Mayweather.
Connor did 1,000 times better in the boxing ring than Floyd would in the Octagon. I doubt Floyd would leave an Octagon on his own feet.
Respect for both guys; to Floyd for having the balls to risk his legacy like that, and to Connor for hanging up the majority of his tools and taking on the best for a challenge.
