Language Bar problems

This is a problem on my mom's computer that I can't seem to find an answer for anywhere. It is a Media Center Sony Viao (or is it Vaio?).

Anyway, the problem is that there are probably 100 instances of the language bar on her menu bar. (right-click on menu bar, click on Toolbars, and there are too many language bars checked to count) So if there is more than one program running, it puts them on the menu bar as one "tab" for lack of a better word with up and down arrows to cycle between the open programs. This isn't too annoying until you have 5 or 6 things running and you want to switch between them.

Anyone else heard of this or know a good way to fix this? I've spent too many hours googling this problem. I had to ask somebody somewhere.

Go to control panel, then go to regional and language options. Select the language 'English, French, or etc', Clink on Language tab and go to detail. Select the languages which you only wants to be displayed. Press ok then reboot!

Which version of MS office are you using? (I assume that's the "language bar" you are referring to).

I'd start with the simplest things:
First, try a "Detect and Repair" in MS Office's Help menu. Allow Office to remove your old settings.
If that doesn't work, then remove MS Office and re-install it.
