Don't count on it. The multipliers, FSB setting, and voltage is usually hardcoded. In other words, you can't change it. Sometimes you might run across a model that supports a few different CPUs, but the speed difference is very minute.

Thats the thing, the other CPU options include a mobile P4, but it was a $200 upgrade. I figure it would be nice if I can get that as an upgrade for 1/3 the price in another year or so.
