Alright, so I'm having a couple of issues with my laptop that I'm hoping someone can help me with. I have a toshiba satelite and I'm running windows vista. There are two issues that I have tried researching and ran a few trial and error fixes that haven't worked.
One: The touchpad and buttons have stopped working.
T&E attempts: I went into the control panel and made sure that the enable option was clicked. I also uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them. I tried to use the function keys to turn the pad on and off and have had no response.
Two: I have a 110 gig harddrive and I am only showing 14 gigs of unused space. I do not have any games, music, video, or pictures loaded on it so I can't figure out why so much space is used up.
T&E attempts: I ran a disk cleanup and gained about a half a gig. I also ran a defrag and gained about 5 gigs back. It just seems odd to me that I would be using that much capacity without having anything other than operating software loaded.
Any information or answers to these problems is much appreciated.
