Laptop + Monitor = Dual Display action

I hadn't seen nor thought of this until I saw it working today. With Win98/ME/2K, you can get dual displays working with the laptop's LCD and another monitor ... with only one graphics chip.

Althouh I abhor laptops, I thought that was cool.

The Dell system I played with yesterday (for a co-worker) had DIFFERENT images. Both displays ran 1024x768, thus a total UNIQUE display of 2048x768. I think it had a NeoMagic graphics chip, running Win98.
