You might want to remove all usb and any other devices that you can in order to troubleshoot easier. With everything removed, you can most likely isolate the problem. Sounds like you may have a corrupt driver/drivers.
I wouldn't worry about the display driver until you've taken a look at those iastor errors. My bet is that they're complaining about the device you're booting from. A data backup would be prudent IMO.
ya the date and time are correct when i look at it (currently in Afghanistan) though it still says its set to central time (US & Canada). Is that an issue?
well i havent had time to do anything until today. I decided to unplug my rgb cable from the tv along with my wireless keyboard to see if that fixes the problem. So far its been almost a full day and no issues. Been doing the same things too. The only thing though I try to transfer (click and drag) a pdf file to my iphone over itunes but the program will freeze and be unresponsive as soon as the file reaches the outside of the boxs and then it would just sit there. I try to bring up the task manager but that remains unresponsive too. I normally have to hard shutdown the computer. Ive done it 3 times so far. Each time I think it wont happen again but it does.... It just now started to do this.
Any ideas?
EDIT: just noticed. The PDFs are in my downloads folder and when I bring them up during my iphones sync process it would freeze but when i close it it will unfreeze and continue to sync.
IF you didn't back up your registry before doing anything with the registry you're a beginner PC user and learn from your mistakes. Its as easy as going to FILE then clicking EXPORT.
I personally would format. If you have any files on there that are needed you can copy and paste them to an external media using the cmd prompt. Google.
Do not use downloads.com, aka CNET because they've turned to the dark side and might wrap crap in the software hosted on there. Either download directly from the official site or safer sites like FileHippo or Softpedia.
As far as I know, Bleepingcomputer's forums is probably the best bet for completely removing malware, but your mileage may vary.
