There seems to be a breakdown in the parts supply chain. This has affected everything from new automobiles, to new video cards and computers. Old used stock is still abundant in some of these items, but many things from the factory can be hard to get. If you go down the supply chain, it seems the problem is the semiconductor Fabs.
Apparently a lot of different workers, engineers, etc are involved in this long complex pipeline that constitutes a Fab.
It would be great if some of the EE engineers and people in the industry can enlighten us to the situation, and give us guesstimates of how quickly things can get back into swing.
