The family who claimed to news reporters that they are Jewish, is suing Clark County School District after their autistic non-verbal son was bullied by classmates who carved a swastika on his back. The parents are suing the school because they reported and complained to the school district about the incident, however no action was taken. They also complain that the school district violated their son's disability special needs rights, by not giving the special needs that he needed. The school on the other hand claims no such incident occured in the school as they can't find evidence of the incident happening in the school.

The child literally has a swastika carved in his back, but you show zero empathy for the child, but instead mock quality of the carving. Regardless of who did the carving, you demonstrate you do not consider the child to be human.

I dunno why they do it, I only know that was my experience at school.

Realistically, there's not much that anyone reading these articles can say about it. That would require knowledge of what the school/police did to investigate and whether they had a duty to provide something different in the school environment that could have prevented it and failed to provide it. To those points we have zero facts. Unfortunately, it seems plenty realistic to me that some kids could corner a nonverbal autistic student in the bathroom, scratch what they think a swastika looks like into his back, and have no one able to find out who did it and when afterward.

Sad, ugly story, if correct as reported. Apparently, it happened in mid-March, as articles from April of this year report.

"Jolie Brislin, regional director of ADL Nevada, released a statement Tuesday referring to the incident as a “violent” act, which reportedly occurred in mid-March."

And, yes, according to this Dec 25th article, as @Leeea reported, the Lawfare Project is involved, and the FBI has at least opened an investigation.

The FBI subsequently opened an investigation into the matter, but the LP stated that, to date, “the perpetrators are still at large,” a fact that puts every student, and particularly those with disabilities or who are otherwise unable to advocate for themselves, in danger, the organization said.
