Not the way you are making it, that's for sure.

Oysters and provolone layered between lasagna noodles (but if you don't have these, tortillas work in a pinch), gently microwaved at 10% power for four and a half hours and lovingly dusted with a Cap'n Crunch crust.

Nah, I like it the American way; with a shitload of meat. There are probably other ingredients in it, but all I really care about is ground beef.

Homemade lasagna noodles (my wife just got the pasta attachments for her Kitchen-Aid mixer). Sauce is my own creation that evolved from this recipe. Lots and lots of fresh mozzarella, with a little ricotta on top.

The sausage for the sauce has to come from a crappy liquor store in St Paul that happens to also be an italian / meat market. Other sausage just won't cut it.

Mine is 2lbs of ground beef, 1lb Italian Sausage.

The meatsauce has to be delicious and is honestly the most critical component. Really, other than that, just go with your selection of cheeses and get the top and edge peices to crisp up.

We do a ground beef/italian sausage bolognese type sauce with fresh everything EXCEPT tomatos. Cheeses are typically mozerella, provolone and ricotta. Though we sometimes leave out the provolone.

The 2nd post is all wrong. Cheese needs to be on top to get all caramelized and delicious. Plus the pictures are horribly out of focus.

M'Lady made me a lasagna a few weeks back. That's my favourite way to make lasagna.

Just yesterday I made the "Classic Lasagna" from the Simply Scratch site, http://www.simplyscratch.com/2012/11/classic-homemade-lasagna.html

This was the second time I'd made it; I think it's a magnificent recipe, superior to what I've been using for decades. I happen not to like pieces or chunks of tomato, so I always use crushed tomatoes (for this recipe) or tomato puree (for all other appropriate recipes), but that's just personal preference.

That looks amazing. I believe I'll try that sometime soon...

That was my lunch yesterday. It had been in the fridge for about 8 days, so it was an experiment to see how long one could leave leftovers sit before declaring it inedible. I am happy to report that I suffered no ill effects, so you have at least a week before even thinking of tossing any leftovers.
