Right now, I spend about 70$(including tips) every three weeks for eye brow and brazilian touch up waxing.
It would be worth it to try the at home version for my purposes.

I can hear Barry Manilow singing it now ...

"Her name is Lola
She lasers pubies
In the hottest spot south of her navel ..."

I wonder if I can get one that works effectively for hair removal all over my face. I hate shaving.

I've wondered this too. It seems that I can find product to remove hair from my testicals, but my chin is too hard a nut for science to crack.

IIRC, laser doesn't work so well on thick, coarse, dark hair. Otherwise I'd be lasering the crap out of my throat/neck, that hair is totally worthless.

Then I'd start in on a couple spots on my back

I'm kind of surprised to even see this for home use. I wonder how weakened these home machines are compared to the doctor's version.

I'm considering getting my back done. I'm a hairy, although not overly so guy. But my back is just a bitch, I have like 2 patches in non-symmetrical areas of light-medium hair growth. Only thing holding me back is price... everywhere I've looked says back hair removal starts at like $600. Mmmkay... It would take me all of a minute to shave it off if I could reach the damn patches.

I'd love to at least cut a few inches around the butt crack, for free poop flow so it comes out and falls in the toilet, instead of coming out, get shred into millions of pieces then smear all over. It's a pain in the butt, literally.

It really is the 21 century, we are useing lasers on our genitals. Not that I dissaprove, but I wonder if the guys at Bell Labs ever imagined the places their little invention would see.

Well, i think that is better than pour hot wax over my who-who and ripping it off.

That statement was just a little titillating.

Try starting on the outskirt of the private area first, you don't want to get any on your "who who".

I tried laser removal of my chest hairs once (free from a derm friend), It was really painful even with topical anesthesia(EMLA). You literally can hear the individual hair folicles explode in your chest as she passed the 5 inch wide laser bar over my chest. You need about 3-4 treatments because some hair follicles are mid-cycle and not destroyed. I would say after 1 treatment she got around 40% of my chest hairs.

Actually I was told that the darker the hair the better as it is able to transmit the lasers energy better to the follicles. The whole point of this is the destruction of the hair follicles.

Seriously - my wife could save quite a bit of cash if I picked up one. Not to imply that she's a hairy beast but. but.

anyone know a brand name that won't cause cancer or turn her into a super hero?

:Q

How bad was the pain afterwards? Was the area sore for some time? Any reaction / lasting irritation to the area?
