This is too good. I already bought a hosting package from them last month, but I couldn't resist picking up two more "just in case" for eight stinkin' bucks!

This time around, you don't need a domain, you can buy for future use. And the really cool thing is that they won't start the countdown until you activate your domain! They could have just said the clock starts ticking on day one and you have a year no matter when you get us the domain. But no, these guys prove once again they are a class act.

If you're looking for inexpensive hosting, you can't go wrong with these guys!

Edit: The CEO says the sale will end before the night is over at the current rate that accounts are going.

Correct you just paypal them the money/ or credit card and hang on to the confirmation/id number and when you are ready to start up just email them the # and info and tell them you want to start

So you have to pay for your domain in addition to it? That's a tad bit more now lol. About $14 for the first year and then $18 after that.

Thanks for posting this Smolek.

The title clearly says hosting not hosting and registration DjBaMBaM. This is a great deal, go crap somewhere else.

Okay. After looking at the original thread, it aooears that most people used www.godaddy.com to register a domain name and then used that one to sign up to this deal. It also seems that you pay however much the deal is for the rest of your life. So that's $3.90 + $8.95 (domain hosting) = ~$13. Not bad of a price for a yearly service. But I also saw that if you buy 5, you get one free...also renewed free every year too. I only really need one site, but can I use the rest as "storage" in addition to the main site as subdomains? Thanks for any insight.

That's the point, the price you pay is only for *hosting*. Besides, at these rates, who can even start to complain? And the service is top-notch too.

I just bought five at $3.90 each. This better be for real...I'm rally tired of all the $hitty hosts and servers I have had. Maybe I can resell the other three I won't be using to other people for a monthly rate...hmmm. Or maybe just store files and MP3's...guess we'll wait and see...

Thanks,

Far

This is a bit odd for me...

So if I want the P1 plan, I just PayPal them $2.10 and then go and fill out the form?

THanks for the hot tip (not sarcastic)!

I'm going to assume they check the copyright of the MP3 to make sure its legit...damn shame.

Looks like I'll just use the spares as back-up space, archives, etc.

I can finally get my sites of of freeservers (please stop laughing).

Thanks again,

Far

FR - that is what I did.

I ordered three P1 plans for $6.30 total. I don't need the space, I just want unique domain names for small store fronts to get me indexed.

They obviously aren't the most together company because they don't have an online payment solution automated yet... but for 2 bucks, who can complain. As long as I get reasonable uptime within the first 30 days I won't disupte the charge through my CC company.

Thanks for the reminder and new thread. I may not have seen this if you just bumped the old thread.

Ordered 5 P5's for $19.50 with 1 free. Under $20 for 110MB of webstorage space EACH plus 6GB traffic, wow.

Now I gotta find 6 domains to register.

(this may sound like self promotion but it is not. i am not associated with them in anyway just reporting the main bits from the CW chat room)

Whatever you pay now you pay for life if you choose to renew it. No increase. Also if you dont want the hosting activated yet just paypal them the money and hold on to the confirmation id and just tell them when your ready. Also for those getting the free hosting (when purchasing 5) that free one is free for life. It seems like it is a really good company and from watching the chat room tonight if you ever have a problem you wont be jerked around because the CEO is there (yes the CEO) and helps.

Heres a tip for resellers : On May 1 when they go to reseller accounts only there is a rumor that there will be no setup fee, and free first month for the first 50 reseller signup.

You dont have to buy a domain yet. You can just buy the webspace, and buy the domain later.

And to answer your question, I don't think you can. I was thinking that also.
