Saw Reba and Brooks & Dunn a couple weeks ago in Vegas. So much talent on that stage, it was ridiculously good.

Last was Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. Next week i'm seeing Flogging Molly for the 3rd or 4th time. And then in august im off to Red Rocks for the first time to see Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats with Shovels & Rope again.

Would love to see Shovels & Rope. My last was Yonder Mountain String Band with Trout Steak Revival, couple months ago. Awesome show, both bands. Before that was Steve'N'Seagulls, which was even awesomer.

How was the show? I wanted to go but am out of town.

It was awesome. It's such a great place acoustically for live music. Even chino mentioned about playing in such a historic play and he seemed to be having a great time.

After the show we were walking down the alley between Broadway (behind tootsies) and the Ryman. Not many people were walking that way and I happen to look into a stairwell and none other than Steph Carpenter of the Deftones was sitting there smoking! So wife and I talked to him for a few minutes and then I borrowed some girls pen and he signed a shirt and ticket for us. Awesome guy every time I've met him and he's so nice.

Last concert was AC/DC, next will be GnR

I saw AC/DC back in Feb in Houston. Going to see GnR in August. Other concerts before that I have tickets to so far are:

Shinedown with Halestorm
Goo Goo Dolls
Rob Zombie with KoRn

Have tickets to a few others, but I don't remember which ones offhand.

Yeah G'nR in Cincinnati in July is on my list for this summer. I wanted to catch Chris Cornell playing a small venue in Louisville but it was the same day as the Gn'R show and I had already booked that.

It was great. There are a lot of bootleg videos of the show. I hope they produce a DVD version of the show....wait we are talking about Iron Maiden who does not pass up making a quid on anything.

I was originally going to the Flogging Molly show here, but it's a little more than I like to spend, a larger venue than I prefer, outdoors, and it's the day after I get back from Gen Con, so I decided to pass.

Going to a music festival this weekend in upstate NY. About 40 bands will be there, although I'm mainly going for Five Finger Death Punch and about 5-6 others. Should be insane, I'm so pumped up.

They will both be at the festival I am going to this weekend. I saw LoG back in 2009 and it was incredible. They are fantastic live. A lot of bands drop the ball when it comes to performing, but these dudes were some of the best I've seen.

Best concert I've honestly ever been to, Power Trip, who I had never heard of before, was playing too and absolutely rocked the show.

Definitely wanting to go to another LoG concert. Much better than the froo froo (Arcade Fire, Copeland) concerts my wife ends up taking me with her to.

Totally. They were the headliner at that show, but they played with a few other bands I'd never heard of who ended up being pretty awesome.

Also, All That Remains will be at this festival, but somehow aren't even the 3rd or 4th top act that day. Ollie can shred, and I can't wait to see it live. A Day to Remember is the headliner on Saturday..... what?

If I remember, he played for close to two hours. He didn't improv a ton but sounded great both playing and singing. I really enjoyed the show. A lot of that could be attributed to the venue because the Ryman is such an awesome place. I'm going again next month to see him at our "new" amphitheater.

Rage Against the Machine Nov 29th 1999. Its been awhile.

got hammered before we headed downtown to maple leaf gardens. Stood in a line and saw that everyone was being frisked. Gave my bottle of whiskey to some street person outside.

Best friend went to the seats while I stood in line to get some beers for us...got to the front of the line after long ass wait and all the beer was sold out.

They had this spotlight that would pan around the crowd and hit me right in the eye everytime. Other than that, it was an amazing concert.
