Went to see Tal National last night. They were rockin', very high energy. The sound system was too loud, creating a wall of noise effect which detracted from an otherwise good show.

Saw Against Me! here in Stockholm. Even though half the original band is gone and all the new songs kinda sucks, they bring it hard live. Great times were had by everyone.

It was awesome. Mike Portnoy and Jordan Rudess were both there and they had guest appearances.

Also had Next to None, a band whose drummer is Portnoys kid. They were pretty damn solid for a bunch of 16 year olds.

CrueFest at Saratoga Springs, NY in 2008. Trapt just plain sucked, the rest of the lineup was okay. Buckcherry stole the show, IMO. Once Motley Crue was done with the TittyCam and they were playing their new stuff the attention kinda waned.

last Saturday i saw seven bands at a friends party...

Francis Meints, Contrafunk, Friday Night Cat Fights, Poet Radio, The Francis Vertigo, Hudson K and Joie.

had to leave before Sun Brother played but enjoyed everyone's set, especially FNCFs, Hudson K and Joie.

So, not really a concert, but a few nights ago I went to a bar with some buddies and they had karaoke (which I can't stand). What was different was there was an actual band playing the songs. I had never seen that before around here. Rather than just people singing badly over music, it made it sound like..well...a bad band, but somehow more tolerable.
