Pi is nothing like Requiem. To me, Pi was barely worth the price of the rental.

Black Hawk Down

I am a military member myself and that movie just made me sick to think of the hell that those guys went through to survive. It also angered me for a while after I left the theater. It's been a while since a movie made me so emotional, but that one did it. Before that Saving Private Ryan's opening sequence was a bit shocking, literally. I think most people who watched that the first time were in a degree of shock though.

The one that comes to mind is Almost Famous...

reminded me how uneventful my life is and really how pathetic it is...

that kid was what ... 16... (yes i know its not a true story...) and his life fn rocked...

i would give anything to be 14 in '66... just so i could grow up in that time... get a chance to see zep in their prime... the who... david bowie... hell... woodstock... live in an amazing time period... it sucks to have grown up in the 90s ... i mean what did we really have...

it disturbed me...

Actually, the story for the movie is based on events from the director Cameron Crowe's life as a young rock journalist.

From IMDB :"The film is director Cameron Crowe's semi-autobiographical account of life as a young Rolling Stone reporter. The actual group that Crowe first toured with was The Allman Brothers. (Gregg Allman was the one who distrusted him and kept asking if he was a narc.) Crowe's real-life near-fatal plane crash happened while traveling with The Who. The character of Russell Hammond character is based on Glenn Frey of The Eagles."

LOL, sorry. But remember, life is what you make of it. You may not know what you're doing right now, but it will come together.

The Ring was a good one.
The sickest movie = House of 1000 corpses , the Rob Zombie movie. (I wish I hadn't watched it)

yeah, as a child the movie It scared the crap out of me. The last movie to really get me emotional though was probably Shindler's List.

I can't really think of one, the internet has dulled my senses too much I suppose.
Movies are all fictitious anyways, the ones that disturb me are the supposedly "real" videos like beheadings and even major bone breakages. Things happening to real people will always be more frightening.
