Leave a brief summary of your opinion on it too, if you would please. Thanks!

Half-Life: Episode 1 -- Started last night, so far so good.

F.E.A.R. -- Excellent. Enjoyed it very much (play it in headphones!)

Civilization 4 -- My first play of the series, couldn't get into it but can see why many people adore it. The best thing I got out of it was the awesome title screen song.

EDIT: World of Warcraft is a perpetual play for me, sadly.

City of Villains --Lots of fun. A nice break from the usual item grab fantasy genre MMO, which is causing me to enjoy it much more than WoW.

Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War --The most fun time w/ an RTS I've had since Starcraft.

Shadowbane --Someone told me that I'd have fun playing the free trial of this. They were quite wrong.

Half-Life 2: Episode One - Pretty good, couldnt believe it was over so quickly.

Battlefield 2: awesome, awesome game. just need plenty of ram for it.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time: its fun, yet charming in the same way. i enjoyed it a lot.

Warcraft 3 FZ: Dota -- Sucks away my life: I like Drow, Enchantress and Faceless Void

EPSXE- ff8 -- I'm one of the only people I know who love ff8, and this is great for me since I have my games but no ps2 here

UT2k4 - Fragtastic...I just can't get good enough to beat that final boss

Heroes of Might and Magic V - Played since it came out (1 month?). Good fun, if you like the HOMM games.

Rise of Legends - Good fun (I rate it a solid B). Doesn't really bring anything new to the genre.

Civilization IV - Great game.

Oblivion: Amazing. Spent almost 200 hours on it. Taking a break.

Half-life 2: Episode 1 - Just finished it. Best FPS NPC helper ever, but probably mostly scripted?

Half-life 2 - Played for first time a week ago. Ya, blasphemer. Pretty good, but actually liked Episode 1 more.

ePSXe emulator right?

Just for the hell of it I downloaded it and started playing MGS (Metal Gear Solid) just for the hell of it.

Good times, good times...

Oh and almost forgot:
-FarCry- played it though for the 3rd time on super hard realistic difficulty

-Call of Duty 2- Probably my favorite game, almost EVER

-CS:S- since nothing beats some good old counter strike

Half Life 2- Beat it once... but I forgot the ending so Im now rebeating it...

Oblivion- VERY FUN! Love the real RPG design, not how some games force u down a path and make u do certain things.

CS:S- Im not gonna buy CS 1.6... so I play this!

Doom II - Pretty good but the first didn't have as annoying of puzzles.

Hexen - I'm stuck on the first level and have no idea on what to do, but it seems pretty good from what little I've played of it.

Flashback - Best. Soundtrack. Ever. I wish there was a save system though...

Age of empires III - Good RTS, worth the money, if you liked AOEII you should like this.

Earth 2160 - Had so much potential, a LOT of effort went into this game, good campaign too, but its too much of a rock/paper/scissors RTS. Unlike its predecessor, where the gameplay was very strong but everything else lacked.

Soldiers: Heroes of WWII - Wow this was good, amazing physics and graphics, good WW II RTS, no resource management though, a bit like commandos, but without the frustration.

quake 4 - really good use of the doom3 engine, though i didn't like the vehicle action too much. saw some parallels w/ doom3, but overall, a solid B (B+ maybe)

The Specialists (half-life 1 mod): damn do i miss this... A+ game all the way, everything about it is fantastic. a great challenge to UT for deathmatch style gameplay. do crazy walljumps, dive in mid-air, slide on the ground, extra points for doing stunts and fragging someone, and a MASSIVE armament

BF2: good stuff, but there are some things I just don't like about it (getting repeatedly pwned by vehicles, even as anti-tank, because your team has few/none). Again, solid game, B from me.

i reserve A/A+ for ridiculously good games: Deus Ex, Halflife 1, Baldur's Gate 2 (The Specialists )

FIFA World Cup 06 - looks great! kinda skimpy on in-game commentary. i wish i could get excited about soccer, though...
Civ 4 - i installed civ 4 one night. the next thing i know, i found myself 6 months in the future.
NOLF 2 - great game! i wish they made another follow up in this franchise

most recent first:

HL2 Episode 1 - engaging and fun. plot seems more focused and apparent than HL2. but very short and no new weapons.
Earth 2160 - pretty fun game. good graphics and interesting campaign which has poor execution, eg bad voice acting and too many cliches
Dreamfall - sequel to the longest journey. excellent game with one of the best plots I've seen in a game. but its relatively weak gameplay makes it unlikely to appeal to most gamers

Oblivion - Pretty solid RPG, excellent visuals. Hate the console-esque menus though.

Outpost 2 - Good RTS from 1996. Changed the feel of an RTS from 'attack the enemy' to flee or be engulfed. Its the only RTS I know of that has disasters that can completely destroy you.

Civilizaton 4 - Great Turn based strategy game. Can eat and watch TV while playing without effecting gameplay negatively . . .potentially dangerous.

What I'm looking for: A good simulation or strategy type game that will let me lead a colonization attempt to uninhabitable worlds of varying types, the ability to terraform the world would be a major plus. Don't think it actually exists, but it would make it a wicked cool game.

Civ - IV -- I always hated TBS games. I never quite understood them and found them extremely boring. However, after hearing friends and family go on about how Civilization is addicting as hell, I decided to try it out. And boy, after getting the hang of it, it becomes really really really really*eleventy billion addicting. I stopped playing it after one campaign though because I don't want to get hooked again... lol.

Psychonauts - Heard so much about how this game was overlooked by the masses and deserved way more sales. Sadly, I found this game to be lack-luster and boring. The game had its moments of humor, which were far and few between, but the gameplay was derivitative and bland. The only thing that I could possibly give this game props for is its unusual story line.

HL2 - Simply put... one of the best First Person Shooters I've played in my life. Heck, after the monstrosity that was DOOM 3, I was looking for a truely immersive FPS. Thankfully HL2 delivered and delivered big.

I'm going to be upgrading my computer in a few months (currently on a PIV 3.0E w/ a GeForce 4 Ti 4200+) and I can't wait to try out Oblivion. I'm really looking forward to the Wii though.

Condemned : If you have the rig to handle it with all of the graphics turned to max with a decent frame rate , this game is an experience. The game has some flaws, but if you play it with an open mind and just enjoy the sheer visceral experience, it's one of the best games you could ever try. A lot of people didn't have the patience for some of it's maps and puzzles, but i found it intriguing.

Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War - so far its kinda fun. definitely seems difficult from the skirmish map i played. i don't really care for having to capture those points to advance though.

FEAR - awesome graphics, AI is pretty good. very repetitive though.

Tomb Raider Legends - pretty fun. can be a little frustrating sometimes.

i play CoD2 mp a lot also.

Ghost Recon: Assault Warrior - Awesome FPS. Game's like CS:S get boring, so it's nice to use your head.

Oblivion - Takes over your life.

Rise of Nations - This is also with the expansion. I know, I'm a little late to the table, but two friends at work got me into this last night. Seems good.

Oblivion - 90 hours into it (not counting reloads). <3, but I don't get to play much because I work 10-7 every day.

HL2: Ep1 - Cool so far. I don't really like the Combine spawn areas where they pour out of these corridors protected by force fields.

Hitman: Blood Money demo - Sweet graphics, same awesome gameplay. They streamlined the controls a bit so it's confusing at first.

I'm a bit behind the curve ...

Civilizations IV : Excellent game, but the only way I've been able to get it to run on my laptop is with no cd patches.
Enemy Territory : Pretty much my first and only online game. whosgaming.com is pretty much the only server I play on, too.
X-Com 3 : I've been struggling to get it to work correctly on the laptop. They sure don't make 'em like they used to.

What I'd really like right now is an FPS up-to-par with NOLF2. That was fun. Or a story/character driven RPG such as Vampire : TM, except without all of the bugs. I can't play Oblivion until I upgrade.

You might want to check out Alpha Centauri, it's the closest I've found. It was made between Civs II and III. With some of the higher tech, you can use your 'workers' to terraform the land - raise mountains, lower into oceans, etc. Personal favorite method is to use the Planet Buster missiles (what the 'nukes' should have been in the Civ series), which literally reduces a block of squares (cities!) into a water filled crater.

This game also pioneered the social engineering (Civ IV civics) gameplay aspect. I was vexed that Civ III lacked that feature.

Other notable improvements include a custom unit builder.
