Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy): Underrated, definitely worth the $20
Story-driven adventure game with a unique and relatively creepy plot. I loved the atmosphere and found it very fitting. The action sequences can be quite intense, and are my favorite part of the game. The only flaws with this game are flaws inherent to the story-driven adventure genre -- don't expect too much open-endedness or an enormous amount of gameplay hours. I played Fahrenheit which is the uncensored Euro version available on many online sites. Indigo Prophecy is the slightly censored American release.
Rise of Legends: Underrated, mixed feelings but mostly good
Overall I really enjoyed this RTS. The races are clever -- they're tehnically fantasy races, but they're based on "non-fiction" work. An example would be humans that use Divinci-inspired, steam-powered machinery. Another example would be a Mayan-like civilization that was visited by aliens who where treated as gods. The races are balanced too. My problem is the game never got the advertising campain it deserved, so the online community is smaller than I prefer in a RTS.
Oblivion: Overrated, not worth it for me
The graphics are great and the world is huge, offering many quests. But the game just turned from fun to work for me way too fast. The leveling/scaling system makes Oblivion gates and various other landmarks far too repetitive. Once you've seen one gate, you've seen them all -- same with the caves, camps, towers, et all. I also found having to micro-manage skills for good level ups, and for good overall skill levels, very tedious and immersion-breaking.
