*Last Update (I hope) girlfreind tells me "we need to talk"

so for those of you who dont know, I'm in a long distance relationship with my girlfreind (our colleges are 6 hours apart) We were both just home over thanksgiving break and spent everyday with each other, and things were real good.. we got along real well and had a lot of fun together. Then we go back to school on sunday, and sometime yesterday afternoon she starting being real distant with me.. I would tell her that i loved her and she would just say "okay" or "thanks"
so today i ask her about it online:
Me: bethany, is everything okay.. you've sounded so distant today?
Bethany: i dont know, i need to talk to you about something but i will later, on the phone i guess

oh well.. not really sure what to expect. Things have been real off and on with us lately, either things are really good and we're real happy.. or things are real shakey... Its been like a crazy rollercoaster ride. I really do love her though, and i know we can work our way through anything.

oh man... i know exactly how you feel... I hate to sound pessimistic, but "we need to talk" almost never means good news. I don't really know what say but be honest with your own feelings and at the same time, respect whatever she is going to say, even if its not good. I wish you luck. Hey, she might be wanting to tell you that you don't write or call enough, something along those lines. She may just be afraid of your reaction if she makes a demand like that on you. (Speaking from experience. ) We need to talk doesn't always mean a break up. So when you talk to her, listen to what she has to say.

I hope your right.. we've managed to make things work out this long, i know we can make it last longer. Over thanksgiving break we were laying on the couch one night talking about our relationship.. and how we really see eachother in our future, and how we want to get married and everything. I dont know what happened in the past week to change things so much

not calling enough is definetly not the problem, my cell phone plan has 3000 minutes a month on it, and i've used every single minute for the past 3 months, just by talking to her on the phone. Not to mention the times that she calls me. ANd i drive down to go see her at least every other weekend.

Don't assume that anything's happened to change things; 'we have to talk' is not synonomous with 'the relationship is over'. Why don't you call her instead of hanging out online where a bunch of guys who don't know you or her just feed your fears?
