That number seems low to be honest.

But, keep in mind over 10000+ more have died from tobacco, a thousand of those innocent victims of 2nd hand smoke. And no one cares, there aren't five pages on the front page of Anandtech P&N discussing what can be done to further whittle away this killer, tobacco lobbying, who donates to the tobacco lobby, etc. The anti-2A side only cares about saving lives if it helps further their political agenda. They don't care about saving lives, they care about pushing their anti-2A ideals.

Just do the math. Of 33K gun deaths in this country every year ~2/3 are suicide & we won't count them. The other 11K works out to 30 per day. 9 days means ~270 people.
