The Constitution in general, with regards to how to change it and the 2nd Amendment in particular with regards to private citizens keeping and bearing arms including buying arms and ammunition are working as intended. Could you possibly stop with the patronising efforts to tell us all at length about things we know more about than you do? I remember the Sokal hoax, I found it quite amusing at the time, as having been raised as a conventional leftist I was never much of a fan of the pomo faux-left types (Sokal is a more old-school leftist as well).
But the article was published in a minor, non-peer-reviewed journal, hardly a major sociology journal. And not all sociology is of that trendy pomo variety, not by a long shot it's quite a diverse field.
Plus, these days, there seem to be dodgy journals in all fields (rather like the academic version of vanity publishing)
