Late to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

So I finished Assassin's Creed 2 yesterday and started Brotherhood, I am into the part after the castle got destroyed and the team has set up base in the lower level of the house...

Is it just me or do the graphics seem worse in this game than it's predecesor?

I have everything set on high and not very impressed, I was hoping for better graphics...

I think you'll find that Brotherhood and Revelations just don't measure up in general. Revelations has better looking faces, though. At least they have more details. I can't speak to the PC graphics since all games pre 3 I played on 360.

With that said, at least Brotherhood provided maps for the feathers. Its story was enjoyable enough, but the remaining Ezio games just reeked of filler to me. All part of trying to annualize the franchise.

Assassin's Creed 2 on PC has some of the worst LOD management I've ever seen. Whole building facade's just popping into view right in front of you.

Brotherhood looks a bit better because they pushed the LOD out further. In terms of textures and shaders and stuff the games look exactly the same to me.

Personally i found this game boring. All he does is kill, and kill, and kill in different ways. No customization, not much weaponry to choose from, and the sci-fi thing that appears back and forth in time is just ...lol

i still listen to 'city of rome' all the time
