According to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS his current approval rate is at 35% which is a full 5% lower than last month. Do you suppose the school shooting has anything to do with this?

It's at 50% according to Rasmussen- Go by the poll you like though, they differ over 15 points which means you can't trust any of them to be accurate. The CNN poll is the lowest of them all.

They used the marketing research firm SSRS to conduct this poll and they also explain the breakdown of the sample size demographic. No poll is perfect but if they reached out to the same group with their survey it provides a clear direction of public opinion.

Seriously, the poll you quoted has a long history of being crappy in its accuracy. If those results are bear out across several other polls in the near future than sure his numbers would be going up. Myt take is the CNN poll is a little worse than most will come out. But I don't see him getting above 38-40%.

He's stuck in the high 30s to low 40s on average, there are some blips but really not much movement lately. Going to take some massive event like a war or economic collapse to actually budge them either way at this point.
