It's all over the place. In some areas I am locked at 60 constantly, in others I was hitting no higher than 30fps... Those 30fps areas were always the WvWvW zones. SLI scaling was also non-existent. I would see 50%/50% generally across both cards, so I just disabled SLI and ran on one card.
I don't think these were driver issues though. The game is certainly not demanding graphically, but it's not a light weight like WoW is either. I think there are issues with the game engine causing performance issues.
Scaling seems to be a driver issue...
GW2 is an NVIDIA TWIMTBP title. As such, AMD does not have access to the final gold build, so we will be unable to investigate CrossFire scaling until after the game launches this weekend.
Another update:
We're at +7% CF scaling currently, at 1080/1600p w/ all the bells and whistles. NVIDIA is at -20% across the board.
This title may just not be all that friendly to multi-GPU, but we're continuing to look into it.
Radeon fans might also be pleased to know that 7000 Series is faster at 1080/1600p w/ AA, by about 5-10%.
