Latex house paint got on car - how to remove it?

Hey guys. I bumped up against the painted frame of the garage with my car's bumper and it go white paint on it. I've tried using wax to remove it and while it gets most there's still a long streak where the bumper dragged against the wood (its not the underlying plastic of the bumper cover either). Is there anything you can think I might could try that could remove latex house paint without harming the automotive paint? Thanks.

Paint cleaner should work. I like Meguiars personally. Make sure to follow up with a good wax.

throttle body cleaner works wonders for anything on car paint.

I used rubbing compound to take off latex paint from the side of my van. The latex paint came off with some elbow grease without any damage to the original car paint.

throttle body cleaner works wonders for anything on car paint.

Don't know about which tb cleaner you use, but the one I've used most recently, CRC's tb cleaner, is min. 80% acetone, which is not exactly compatible with paint or clear coat.

Probably safer using polishing compound, esp. if wax removed most of the paint. Less abrasive than rubbing compound, which, if you're going to do it right, should be followed by polishing cpd. anyway.

Alternatively, I'd even try isopropyl alcohol first. Or even maybe WD-40. Neither will harm the paint at all.
