you must be a late arrival... axshop basically has something on hot deal everyweek....
it is true that it may take 2 weeks before you get your stuffs... but no one has problem dealing with them as yet...

i got the 2 sections one...... was a bit scare that the 3section's 3rd section is a bit flimsy....

There's pics. One has 2 sections that extend the other has 3. If you ask me, they both look about the same length extended.

If you click on them (surely you did that right? )

2 sections! Specifications:

o Folded length: 6?

o Minimum length in working: 5.5?

o Maximum length in working: 9?

3 sections! Specifications:

o Folded length: 5?

o Minimum length in working: 4.3?

o Maximum length in working: 8.5

OMG! Its a 1" closed height differance and a half inch max open height differance! I suppose it depends on the size of your camera bag. I guess this is one case where its the length that matters.

They use Paypal for their checkout, so no worries about your credit card number since they never see it.

Anyway, I ordered a 2 section one since it looks like it's a bit taller.

Check the specification bullet for both kinds. I think the "section" is related to the length of legs.

Check the pics of the OP link (as I mentioned ) The sections are the seperable leg sections that extend.
-------======= is the two section.
----===|||||| is the 3 section leg.
Oddly enough the specs (which I also posted earlier) shows that the 3 section leg model is shorter.

Ahh....I see it now in the pics. Looks like the 3 section one has a wider stance which would explain the shorter height.

Thanks, picked up a 3 section. Will be handy when I need to pack light and need a small tripod. I also picked up that USB mug warmer for ~$7. It will help keep my caffeine warm in the cube.

Mine showed up today I gotta say this thing is really, really tiny. Its seems to be of higher quality though. Its about the size of a regular snickers bar when folded up.
