LCD Flatpanel Monitor Recomendations

Looking for a top of the line 17 or 19 inch flatpanel monitor, what does everyone reccomend?

The eizo are suppose to be the ferrari of lcd panels.. built on nec's glass. 1500 for like 1 18 inch.. I went with the Nec lcd 1830 for 850 instead...

I have Viewsonic's VG191b,VG181 and VA800. Can you tell what I recommend?

Planar 17.4" which can be bought from Dell for about 600-650 depending on what discount they have that week. Great for games too.

Recognizing that i will likely upgrade with the next generation (maybe two gens) of flat panels i went with the PV174 which as Dre above points out can be had at the $600 level - great panel, no regrets.

i got the dell 2000fp because it's the cheapest 1600x1200 lcd

I use the Dell 20.1" 1600x1200 2000fp LCD...it's great...and only $1339 too.
