LCD Gaming monitors?!?

I am looking at a dell monitor (the ones that go on sale with the stackable coupons mainly the Dell 2005FPW 20.1" Widescreen LCD)

Is this a good choice for a gaming monitor??? What else could i go with that would give me excellent gaming, high resolutions, and of course low response times.

I'd rather have a 2001FP (5:4) instead of a widescreen monitor for gaming.

2005FPW Pros:
1) It's attractive...and widescreen!
2) UT2004 looks amazing @ 1680x1050! However not all games look as good. Stretching is nasty.

Cons:
3) Way too bright. Even with brightness @ 0 it's still too bright!
4) Backlight bleeding
5) Contrast ratio not as good as the 1800FP. I can see very faint vertical lines on a solid black background.
6) 1 stuck pixel (green) in the upper right and cannot be massaged out.

Bottom Line:
I returned the 2005FPW and went back to my kickass 1800FP.

Dell 2005FPW or Dell 2001FPW. Both great monitors, but I like the screen real estate of the 2005FPW.

what response times do these monitors have? Are they good for gaming, or do they ghost?
