LCD Monitor Advice

Hello,

I'm interested in buying an LCD monitor and have narrowed my choices down to a couple of Viewsonic 18"ers. One of the monitors has only a standard 15 pin analog connector, whil the other has analog and DVI-D.

Since the model with DVI-D is about $200 more, my question is: Is there a big difference? Is the digital connector worth the extra $200 dollars? I haven't had the opportunity to see for myself so I'm not sure which I should go with.

Why buy Viewsonic?
Viewsonic is just a good marketing company, they don't make anything, all products are out sourced to other real manufacturers.
Do you know there is Samsung 181T?
After you see the spec and the price of Samsung 181T, you don't have to consider Viewsonic anymore.

Using OEM Manufactures is very common in the industry, even Samsung and Sony use third party manufactures for some of their models. This does not mean quality is less. Many of my own products come off the same assembly lines as these big brand names.
