I have a LCD monitor, Prinston DPP500.
It dies one day, and first thing I did was open it up, and tested each component, and found out that the fuse in the power supply of the LCD monitor, (not actually power supply, since there is a power adaptor, but the fuse on the circuit board where the power adaptor connects to at the back or bottom of the monitor), and the power is back up. However, there is no disply, or sometimes a very very faint display, where I can barely see what's on the screen.
When I turn the monitor on, the power LED is yellow, and when I turn on the computer and there is input to the monitor from computer, the light turns green. so I think the power and display connector is working, but no or very very faint display.
Anyone had similar problem or know which part I shoulc look at and test? the brightness control doesn't seem to do anything...
thank you!
