if i understand what your talking about, i believe you just select "have disk" and direct it to the folder with the drivers you want to overwrite with. but i didnt read everything, so i dont know if this is what youre looking for

so there's a card that's non-expert on newegg:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-122-181&depa=0§ion=1
how is it different than the expert? it's not obvious, and how is my money best spent?
am not sure if anybody has experienced this problem before (this thread is way too long) but if anybody could help, I would appreciated it.
I tried to install the driver for the card according to the instruction but every time I reboot, windows' new hardware found message still pop ups. It looks like the driver didnt properly install according to the yellow question marks in device manager window.
I tried switching the pci slots, removing and reinstalling the software but still the same results.
Thanks in advance.
I have an extra Deluxe. I got it for my other PC, but the Winfast Deluxe TV2000XP card doesn't work so hot in that PC. It has something to do with that PC, because both of my Winfast Deluxe TV2000XP cards have the same problem in that PC (it won't shut down without a reset). That is to say, there's nothing wrong with the card AFAIK. It's just like my other card. I pulled it so the box shuts down normally. The refurbs in the link say "barebones", however I can and will supply you with the full monty - box, manual, connecting cables, everything that came with it. PM me if interested.Originally posted by: mindless1

What if it isn't AVI? I am using MPEG2. With AVI, for a 30 min clip, it takes up about 28GB.

Mine is due for delivery today. I hope everything works out ok but at that price it's not much of a gamble.
