Wow,
Can't believe this thread keeps going.
I Upgraded to the new drivers and now when I start the TV It just hangs and usess 100% of my resources. Then I close the program with task mgr (window 2000 pro). Now if I re-start, the program runs fine.
I wonder if DirectX 9 would help?

NO luck when it find my card its trying to find the drivers for the WDM crossbar and the file WF2Kbar.sys? I can point it to that file but after clicking on continue it reboots my pc and gos though the same routine! Also when it find the card I get a windows popup like the generic one you get from microsoft when a piece of hardware doesnt support the Hardware or drivers?

I found a bug in the PVR software.
Can someone else try this and see if you get the same results (in xp):
Start recording
Hit WINDOWSKEY+L to lock the machine
Unlock the machine and see if it just erased your current recording and started back at 0 bytes. The counter is still counting, but the file itself is erased and recreated which creates a 0 byte file, then it starts recording again right after you unlock the system.
I tried finding an email to email them but i cant find it anywhere. So, let me know if it does the same for you too. I'm running version 2.816 of the PVR software.

No problems with it here. There is a setting in TitanTV to use a new file format. Works fine here though....click the icon...little dialog box pops up and i hit OK and its in my schedule.

When you click on the icon does it first save a file (.tvvi) to your hardrive which you must double click to actually activate the integrated record or watch feature? Or does it do it automatically?
Also, the TitanTV interface has changed dramatically (for the better) since the last time I tried using it. You can now customize your own channel list, which is really important for me (I live on a college campus with its own arbritrary channel # asignments for programming). Also you can have multiple profiles, which is also really important for me so I can manage channel listings for my home location and my on campus location.

OKAY...I'm using this to record FM programs off the air...and everyting seems to work fine...until I play it back.
For some reason the MP3 files I create cannot be played back by the LEADTEK software. All I get is screeching and howling. My ATI multimedia player, Windows Media Player (v6.4) and GOLDWAVE MP3 editor. When I load the mp3 file into Goldwave, the 336 min file shows up as 46 min...so it looks like the software cannot figure out the playback speed correctly.
Interestingly enough the mp3 file can be played back using WINAMP (v2.8), REALPLAYER 8, Windows Media Player (v7).
I did some searching on the net, and it seems the quartz.dll version incompatibility is at fault. If that is so, how come I can playback the same mp3 file on some players and not others? Anyone else have similar problems?
BTW, I have no problems recording and playing back video files. Seems like to capture video in high quality you need a fast cpu and good strong signal to the card. The recording software appears to magnify even a little bit of snow or interference to noticeable levels.
In Windows 2000, the new display drivers and exactly the same as the old. The only thing that's changed is the application software. Don't know if this is true for XP.Originally posted by: Hossenfeffer
I'd recommend basically tossing the installation that came with the card and just downloading the new drivers and apps from the website. Make sure you install them in the correct order.
Haven't had any issues on XP Pro using the above method.
