~~ Leadtek XP2000 deluxe and onboard Audio problem~~

I just installed my new card and aafter some driver problems, teletext driver was bad for me, now the PVR works well except NO SOUND and the remote doesn't work at all (yes it has batteries) Anyone have any problems similar to this?

Yes I have double checked the green connector for audio to the blue line in on mobo.

Crap My Audio and Remote (or the IR?) does not work!!!!! still I have tried allot of things.
I have switched drivers now using WHQL drivers the teletext ones also were bad because windows did not want to load with it.
I have changed all the wires.
Changed PCI slots
Uninstalled and reinstalled drivers.

dont mean to sound like an ass...but did you plug the remote sensor in?

I had that happen. Try reinstalling the drivers, or obtaining a different version.

Using the WHQL Drivers now I have tried all the plugs wires 3x no go I think I might reinstall the driver and then maybe changing PCI slots it is currently in slot 5 on a BH7 .

did you make sure you completely uninstalled the old drivers that messed things up for you?

Well I deleted the files completely from my computer from the source maybe I should have done it differently. I will be able to check tonight.

I have been searching for a TV tuner / FM card for a long time. I finally found the right one. This card works wonderfully. Simple follow the directions below (posted in an earlier review), and no problems. I am running P4 2.0Ghz, WinXP, SB Audigy, and Geforce3 Ti500. TV quality is above average, FM tuner works great.

Also, Newegg.com had the card delivered to me very quickly (even with std. shipping). I will certainly buy from them again (as this was my first time buying from Newegg.com) Thanks Newegg!!!

Installed perfectly on Windows XP Pro by performing the following:
1) Go to Leadtek's FTP server (ftp://ftp1.leadtek.com/tv_tuner/TV2000XP/Driver/030130/)
2) Download the latest software. Hint ALL_TVAP_30130.zip is the latest software package and ALL_TVDRV_30130.zip is the latest driver.
3) Unzip the driver files (remember the directory)
4) Install your Leadtek Card
5) When the operating system asks for the driver disk, point it to the location in (3).
6) Continue to do this until you aren't asked anymore for drivers.
7) Install the program by unzipping ALL_TVAP_30130.zip and running the setup program.

I wonder exactally I need to uninstall to get all drivers out. there are so many linked to the leadtek card under sound devices.

Make sure that You load the Drivers first... Keep pointing towards your driver folder until it's finished asking for stuff (it's going to have to go there quite a few times)... Then load the software...

Make sure that you have your line in cable connected from the tv-card to the sound card... And check your sound card sound settings, and system sound settings, and tv-card sound settings (on my audigy there's a line in setting that You have to enable).

And plug the ir cable into the tv-card and put the eye upfront where you can point and click Your remote at it without any obstructions... Check the batteries in the remote.

Man I have tried almost everything I can think of w/o reformatting I think my card has at least a faulty plug for the IR. any last thoughts on how to get this workin fellas?
