i got placed into silver III....i routinely go X-0-Y or X-1/2-Y as Maokai from the jungle.
sadly then i get trolled when it comes to placement matches
Ended up Plat 4 after placements, was glad I didn't have to go through the gold-> plat promos though when I did that last season it was 3 ridiculously easy stomps back to back so idk if I would have cared lol.
Was way more stoked about the fact that I got into my favorite champion's League, Teemo's Scouts muahahaha!
In any case I'm glad to see my other favorite champion in the LCS and such now (Pantheon) since he has a lot to offer with a few decided pitfalls. However they all use him as a jungler and I just take him mid. I don't seem to be quite on the ball for using him this season yet though since I'm only 6/4 and at the elo I'm playing at right now I should be performing better. Don't quite have that aggressive go for the kill instinct I had last season.
On another note I hate Vi and Jinx in solo queue so much right now, don't even care if nothing else is banned as long as those 2 are out >_>
It's pretty cool. You can queue up or captain a team. As captain, you designate if you want a Fighter/Tank/Assassin/Mage/Support/Any Role in each slot. Then as the system finds those people you can accept or decline them based on their champ and role selection. Once you get 5 people and ready up, the system finds you a match and puts you into loading screen for the game.
Although Riot's servers just melted it seems.

Yah, I was hearing about this from a friend recently. I haven't played this game in over a year. Partly due to the game, partly due to burn out, and partly due to real life things taking over my time. You know like getting married, new job, new house, and making a kid. Although that last part was at least a very enjoyable expenditure of time
Was trying to decide if I should ever restart playing the game. I was mainly frustrated about playing ranked in which I was constantly trolled/auto afk/leaver for losses more often than not. I was hoping Riot would implement a better system to prevent the trolls and discourage trolling beyond the tribune system. The team builder system looks interesting.
Riot decided their April Fool's Joke would be an alternate game mode with the notion that this is the future of normal/ranked league. Jatt did a pretty poor job at making me believe it at all sadly, but the good news is the Ultra Rapid Fire mode (URF for short ) is freaking fun lol. Haven't had this much fun with an alt mode for league ever, and can't even really remember the last time I found the game to be so hilariously enjoyable. Try it out now!
